Ochre Balconies of Barcelona

The Story

I was wandering through the narrow streets of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, drawn by the incredible light hitting these apartment buildings. The way the late afternoon sun illuminated the ochre and terracotta walls, making them glow, was just magical. I loved how each balcony was a little green oasis, a personal garden hanging suspended in the air.

Looking up from street level, the repetition of the intricate wrought-iron balconies and the lush greenery created such a strong visual rhythm. It felt like I was stepping back in time, capturing a moment of quiet, lived-in beauty that's so characteristic of this vibrant city.
