The Story

I found myself completely captivated by this building tucked away in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. The way the light hit the ochre stucco, combined with the deep red of the shutters and the stark black of the iron balconies, was just stunning.

What truly made this scene special, though, were the Catalan flags draped from the balconies. They added such a powerful splash of colour and a distinct sense of local pride. The sky was a spectacle in itself – a swirling mass of yellow and orange clouds that felt almost painted, adding a layer of drama to an already striking composition.

Standing there, looking up at the layers of history and the silent stories held within these walls, I felt a profound connection to Barcelona. It’s moments like these, where architecture, culture, and atmosphere converge, that I strive to capture.
