The Story

I was immediately drawn to the sheer scale and ornamentation of the Palais de la Bourse. Standing at the base, looking up, you can really appreciate the craftsmanship that went into its construction.

The bright December sun of Marseille cast sharp shadows, really highlighting the depth and texture of the stonework. The deep blue of the sky provided a perfect, almost theatrical backdrop for the classical sculptures adorning the roofline.
