The Story

I was exploring the Sunol area in Alameda County, California, when I stumbled upon this view. The late morning sun was just perfect, hitting the hills at an angle that really brought out their texture and the vibrant green of the spring growth. The way the foliage in the foreground framed the scene felt almost intentional, like nature's own doorway.

It was one of those days where the sky was impossibly blue, dotted with just enough wispy clouds to add depth. I wanted to capture that sense of expansive peace, the quiet grandeur of the landscape unfolding towards the horizon.
