Emerald Hills Reservoir

The Story

I found myself standing on a ridge overlooking this breathtaking vista in Inspiration Heights, Cupertino, California. The sun was high, bathing the landscape in a vibrant light that made the green hills almost glow.

It was early spring, and the recent rains had transformed the usually drier hillsides into this lush, carpet-like green. The reservoir, a deep sapphire against the emerald, added a stunning focal point. I aimed to capture the layered depth of the landscape, from the textured foreground hills to the distant, hazy mountains, all under that perfect, endless blue sky.
