The Story
I was immediately drawn to the sheer presence of this sculpture. The 'Barcelona Head' is such a recognisable piece of pop art, and seeing it in person, set against the backdrop of classic Barcelona buildings and under that incredibly dramatic sky, was truly something special.
I remember the air felt thick with the promise of rain, but there was also this beautiful golden light breaking through the clouds, really highlighting the colours of the sculpture and the old buildings. It felt like a moment where two worlds – the classic and the contemporary, the natural and the man-made – were colliding in a really beautiful way.
