The Story

Standing high above the city, I was immediately struck by the contrast between the rugged, ancient stone in the foreground and the more delicate dome and arches of the mid-ground structure. The intense blue of the sky was a perfect backdrop, making the terracotta roofs glow and the distant sea appear almost impossibly vibrant.

It felt like looking across centuries of history, with each building telling a story. The clear day offered a vast vista, stretching from the detailed stonework of Palermo's past to the hazy, majestic mountains framing the city's edge and the endless blue of the Mediterranean.
