The Story

Standing on the coast of Gharsi, Malta, the sheer scale of this rock arch was astonishing. The Mediterranean Sea was a brilliant turquoise, crashing against the weathered stone in frothy waves. It felt like stepping back in time, with the ancient fortifications of Valletta watching over the scene.

The light that day was perfect – bright sunshine illuminating the textures of the rock and the vibrant blues of the water.
