Emerald Coast Cliffs

The Story

Standing on the edge of the world here in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, I was struck by the sheer power of the landscape. The wind whipped around, carrying the spray of the sea as it relentlessly met these ancient cliffs. The contrast between the stoic, layered rock and the vibrant, almost impossibly green water was breathtaking.

It felt like stepping back in time, to a place where nature is still very much in charge. The sky was a typical March grey, but it only served to accentuate the vivid colours of the grass clinging to the rocks and the dynamic emerald hue of the sea. It’s moments like these that remind you of the raw, elemental beauty that exists right here in the United Kingdom.
