Emerald Cliffs of Causeway
Gaze upon the raw, untamed beauty of Northern Ireland's coast. This print captures the dramatic meeting of emerald hills and the wild Atlantic, a timeless scene from Ballycastle.
The Story
Standing on the edge of the land here in Ballycastle, United Kingdom, felt like being at the very edge of the world. The wind was whipping across the grass, making it sway like a living thing, and the sea below was a restless turquoise.
I was drawn to the contrast between the vibrant, almost impossibly green grass clinging to the steep bank in the foreground and the more rugged, ancient-looking cliffs further out. The sky was a canvas of moody greys, which only seemed to amplify the colours of the land and sea.
It's moments like these, with the sheer power and beauty of nature laid bare, that I love to capture. This spot on Whitepark Road truly embodies the wild spirit of the Causeway Coast.
