Emerald Cliffs of Kinbane
Witness the raw power and breathtaking beauty of the North Atlantic as it meets the ancient cliffs of Northern Ireland. This is a view that speaks of wildness and timeless grandeur.
The Story
Standing on Whitepark Road near Kinbane, I was captivated by the sheer scale of these cliffs. The sea was a deep, mesmerizing green, a stark contrast to the dark, rugged rock faces. Even with the overcast sky, the colours were so vibrant, especially the moss clinging to the rock and the lush green on the hilltops.
It was early March, and you could feel the land waking up. The air was crisp and carried the salty tang of the ocean. The waves crashed against the base of the cliffs, a constant, powerful rhythm that made me feel incredibly small in the face of such immense natural beauty. It’s moments like these, completely immersed in the elements, that truly make you feel alive.
