The Story

I captured this image on a crisp winter afternoon in Corfu, Greece. The sheer scale of the Old Fortress is breathtaking, a testament to centuries of history etched into the rock. I was particularly drawn to the way the Greek flag, so vibrant and full of life, stood in stark contrast to the ancient, weathered stone.

It felt like standing at a crossroads of time. The lighthouse, a silent guardian, added to the sense of enduring vigilance. The clear blue sky provided a perfect backdrop, making the blues and whites of the flag pop against the rugged textures of the fortress and the natural landscape.
