The Story

Standing before this weathered display in Tunis, Tunisia, I was struck by the sheer weight of history contained within these fractured stones. The Latin script, though fragmented, still speaks volumes, hinting at a past empire and a civilization long gone.

The way the light caught the carved letters, casting deep shadows and highlighting the imperfections of the stone, made it feel as if these fragments were alive, whispering tales of their origin.
