The Story
Standing within the ancient remnants of Tunis, Tunisia, I was captivated by the way these stone arches framed the world beyond. The light was exceptional, catching the rough textures of the bricks and blocks, making them glow with an inner warmth. It felt like peering through a portal to another era.
The contrast between the solid, weathered stone of the foreground and the softer, more vibrant life of the trees and sky in the background was striking. I aimed to capture that sense of transition, of history giving way to the present, all under a clear, bright sky.
