The Story

I was so excited to finally see this place in person! Matamata in New Zealand is truly something special, and this hobbit-hole with its vibrant yellow door just captured my imagination. The detail in the construction, from the weathered wood to the quirky round window, felt so authentic.

I loved how the green mound and the surrounding foliage really made the bright door pop. The flowers in the foreground added such a lovely splash of colour, and the stone path invited you right in. It was a beautiful, clear day, perfect for exploring and soaking in the atmosphere of this unique place.
