The Story

I was out exploring the trails near El Granada, California, on a beautiful spring afternoon. The sunlight was filtering through the dense foliage, creating these wonderful dappled patterns. I spotted this single, perfect white blossom, a wild raspberry I believe, and just had to capture its delicate structure.

The contrast between the vibrant green of the leaves and the pristine white of the petals was striking. I focused on the flower, letting the background blur into a soft wash of greens, making the bloom really stand out. It felt like a small, intimate moment of discovery, a hidden gem on the San Francisco coastline.
