Crimson Tears
Savor the moment with this intimate capture of fine red wine, where the gentle art of condensation transforms a simple glass into a work of liquid sculpture. A true taste of California evenings.
The Story
I was experimenting with macro shots of everyday luxury, and this glass of red wine really caught my eye. The way the condensation had formed these perfect little rivulets down the side, catching the light, was just beautiful. It felt like a quiet, almost decadent moment frozen in time.
The setting was a cozy evening in Sunnyvale, California. I wanted to evoke a sense of warmth and sophisticated comfort, playing with the soft, diffused light to highlight the textures and colors. The deep red of the wine against the coolness of the condensation created a really compelling contrast, and the blurred background kept the focus squarely on the glass itself.
