Limmat River Sunset Glow

The Story

I arrived on the banks of the Limmat just as the sun began its descent, and I was immediately struck by the scene. The historic buildings lining the river seemed to glow from within, their pastel colours softened by the low, warm light. The reflection in the water was almost as captivating as the buildings themselves, a perfect mirror of the sky and architecture.

It was a chilly winter evening, but the beauty of the moment made me forget the cold. The Fraumünster's clock tower, a true landmark, stood tall and proud, its face illuminated, marking the passage of time as the city prepared for nightfall. Seeing the swans gliding peacefully on the water added a final touch of serenity to an already perfect composition.
