The Story

Capturing the essence of Frankfurt on a late spring afternoon was a truly special moment. The sun was beginning its descent, and the light created these incredible shimmering patterns on the Main River, drawing my eye towards the impressive skyline. You can see the mix of old and new here – the sleek skyscrapers standing alongside a historic church spire, all framed by the lush greenery of the riverside park.

I stood on the Ignatz-Bubis-Brücke, looking west towards the heart of the city. The promenade was alive with people enjoying the evening, their silhouettes small against the vastness of the river and the city beyond. The black and white conversion really accentuates the dramatic light and shadow play, giving the scene a timeless quality that I hope translates into a beautiful print.
