Gaudí's Ascending Dream

The Story

I was completely captivated by the Sagrada Familia from the moment I arrived in Barcelona. Its forms are unlike anything I've ever seen – organic, complex, and deeply spiritual. I wanted to convey that sense of awe and intricate detail.

I chose this low-angle perspective to emphasize its scale and the way it reaches towards the heavens. The overcast sky, while not ideal for vibrant colours, provided a beautiful, diffused light that highlighted the textures of the stone and brickwork, giving it a timeless, almost ancient feel. The warm tones in the sky and building created a dramatic contrast, adding to the mystical atmosphere.
