The Story

Standing on a street corner in Myeongdong, Seoul, I was immediately struck by the overwhelming sensory experience of the city at night. The sheer density of neon signs, each vying for attention with its unique color and glow, was incredible. It felt like the buildings themselves were alive, pulsating with light and commercial energy.

I tried to capture this intensity by focusing on the layered signage, creating a visual cacophony that is both chaotic and beautiful. The deep black of the night sky serves to amplify the brilliance of the neon, making the colors seem even more saturated and alive. It's a view that truly embodies the dynamic and modern spirit of Seoul.
