The Story
I captured this scene on New Year's Eve in Wrocław, Poland, just as the festivities were kicking off. The air was crisp and cold, but the sight of these giant illuminated spheres was incredibly inviting. I was drawn to the contrast between the deep, dark night and the dazzling glow of the lights.
The way the golden and blue lights bounced off the grass and the bare trees created such a unique atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Seeing the lone figure walking amongst them really emphasized the scale and the solitary beauty of the display.
