The Story
I was drawn to the striking contrast of the Polish flag against the ancient brickwork of Wawel Castle. The overcast sky provided a soft, diffused light that really brought out the textures of the centuries-old materials.
It was a cold January day in Krakow, but the sight of the flag, so vibrantly red and white against the muted tones of the castle, was incredibly uplifting. It felt like a symbol of resilience and continuity, a testament to the rich history held within these walls.
