The Story

Driving through Xlendi on Gozo, I was struck by the classic combination of Mediterranean architecture, the ubiquitous palm trees, and the charming, slightly weathered vehicles. The light was soft, creating a timeless feel that I wanted to preserve.

I pulled over and framed this shot looking back up the road, capturing the lead vehicle as it made its way towards me. It felt like a moment suspended in time, a perfect representation of the relaxed pace of life here in Malta.
