Field Notes

The Story

I captured this on a crisp winter morning in Budapest, December 25th, 2025. The air was still, and the sky was a soft, muted grey, which really brought out the textures of the stone.

I was drawn to the dramatic upward sweep of the steps and the rough, almost brutalist quality of the foreground wall. It felt like a journey through time, with each stone holding a story. Standing there, I could almost hear the echoes of footsteps from centuries past.
