Imperial Vienna Sunburst

The Story

Standing on the grounds of the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, I was immediately struck by the intensity of the winter sun. It cut through the crisp air, making the already vibrant green of the lawn almost glow. The palace itself, a testament to centuries of imperial power, looked magnificent against the deep blue sky.

The contrast between the lush grass and the stark, bare branches of the trees, along with the metal-framed bushes, spoke to the unique beauty of a Viennese winter. Seeing a couple walking along the path, one in a bright red coat, added a touch of life and colour to the stately scene.
